Do you lay the tiles? Make a fixture that will save time in 2 times

If you are faced with the task of, say, covering a bathroom with a tile or ceramic tile, then I recommend making this simplest device. It will save your time, effort, and also improve the quality of work performed. Such a device can be assembled directly at the place of work, since it consists of a pair of bars and a sheet of chipboard, which is likely to be at the work site.

Making fixtures for masonry tiles

We take a couple of rectangular bars and a piece of chipboard.
We saw the bars into equal 4 lengths of approximately 30 cm long. You can use an ordinary hacksaw.
Next, you need to fix the segments on the chipboard plate. To do this with self-tapping screws, we drill 2/3 of the length of the bar with a drill whose diameter exceeds the diameter of the head of the self-tapping screw.
Now we put the tile on a sheet of chipboard, and on the sides we first screw on two bars.
The tile should move freely between them without jamming.
Then, we attach two more bars in the direction of the tile, but we make an allowance at the junction of the bars.
Now on the supply side we attach a rail raised to the thickness of the tile with tolerances in the form of a spatula thickness.
We install a notched trowel for applying glue to the tile, in the intervals between the joining of the rails.
We fix with a wooden blade.
The fixture is ready.

How to use

Knead the tile glue and apply it to the fixture.
We push the tile which is inside with another tile from the side.
As a result, a tile with a layer of adhesive along the entire length comes out from the spatula.
Just perfect from all over.
It remains only to stick the tile on the wall and repeat the action.
Depending on the size of your tile, one solution load is enough for 3-4 pieces. But no one bothers to make the edges of the devices higher, thereby increasing the enclosed volume.

If we take into account the clean time that is allocated to the masonry itself, without marking and filing, then thanks to the use of this simple device it is quite possible to reduce this time by at least 2 times.
Also, the quality of applying glue will be much higher, since there will be no empty zones at the edges.
