In the home workshop, sometimes you have to process dimensional and long workpieces: bars and boards made of wood, sheet material, etc. On the desktop, there is not always enough space to conveniently lay blanks.
And for such cases, it is possible to make stands from the profile pipe and rims, which will act as a support structure.
First of all, it will be necessary to cut off part of the car wheels with a grinder. Then the master cuts four segments of the corner and welds them to the disks (two pieces per disk).

Further, for this homemade product, it will be necessary to cut the blanks from the professional pipe. It will be necessary to prepare a profile of different sizes so that you can insert the rack into another. Thus, the stands can be adjusted in height, which is very convenient.
In the main racks, one hole must be drilled. Then the master welds a nut to it, into which the wing bolt is screwed.
If there are no profile pipes of different sizes, then you can do with one pipe (for example, 20 * 20 mm). Only in this case, the main stand welded to the rim will need to be cut lengthwise and then the fastening plates welded.
