In almost every home workshop there is a grinder - this tool is universal, and even, one might say, “folk”, it is used for a variety of types of work.
However, you can further expand the functionality of the grinder, and for this it will be necessary to make a stand for it. Moreover, for the manufacture of such a rack will require simple materials that are easy to get.
For example, in this case, the master makes a rack for a small grinder from an automobile pump and sections of a channel. In total, three pieces of the channel will be required: 2 long and one short.
The main stages of work
In the body of the automobile pump, drill holes for the desired diameter, and then insert two long bolts, fix them with extended nuts. Also, you will additionally need to drill two holes in the gear.
At the next stage, it is necessary to strip a short piece of the channel and weld the extended nuts to it.
Then you need to cut a piece of the corner, and drill two holes in it. The corner will need to be bolted to the toothed pulley of the automobile pump.
After that, it remains only to weld a piece of the channel with the pump to the base (two long sections of the channel). One more hole will need to be drilled in the corner to secure the angle grinder. The ends of the base can be closed with a corner.
