You can even create a small masterpiece from simple and affordable materials found in every home. For example, from the most ordinary plastic lid and aluminum can, you can make stylish wall clocks that will become an original element of home decor.

For the manufacture of this homemade product you will need a plastic cover with a diameter of 70-80 mm and a height of 20 mm, a clockwork powered by a finger-type battery, and an empty aluminum can. When all the basic materials are collected on the table, you can proceed directly to the creative work.

Wall clock manufacturing process

In the center of the plastic cover we make a hole of suitable diameter, and paint the outer surface in black. We fix the clock mechanism to the inner surface of the lid using hot-melt adhesive (you can remove it from an old watch or buy in a store).

Then, using scissors, we “dissolve” the aluminum can, align the sheet of metal and cut out two strips of different lengths - these will be the hands of the wall clock. The edges of the strips must be bent to give them more rigidity. After that, paint the arrows in black.

At the next stage, using parts from a ballpoint pen, we make "adapters" for attaching the hands to the central rod of the clockwork. Using double-sided tape we fasten the clock to the wall. So simply and quickly you can make an original element of interior decor. See all stages of the work in the video.
