With the help of a home-made universal machine from the profile and bushings from the wheels of the bicycle, you can compactly and efficiently organize your work space in a home workshop or garage.
The main areas for machining blanks are at hand, which is very convenient. To make a homemade machine, profile pipes, bushings from the front wheel of the bicycle, pieces of round pipes and pieces of a steel square will be required.
First of all, we cut the profile pipes 40x20 mm in size, after which we weld a frame of rectangular shape from them. Further, from the segments of the round pipe and two pieces of the profile, it will be necessary to weld a rectangular frame.
The main stages of work
On the guides, two carriages from the pieces of the round pipe are attached, to which bolts with nuts are welded. This whole structure is attached to the side of the metal frame. Then it is necessary to weld a power reducer with a worm gear to it.
This mechanism will perform the function of automating the lifting of the machine. First you need to weld a long pin of the same diameter to the gearbox shaft, and then screw two sections of the profile pipe.
As an electric drive, the engine from the washing machine is used for 180-200 W, which is connected directly to the worm gear.
At the last stage of work, bushings from the bicycle wheel will be required. We put on clips of pipe sections cut along them, after which we weld the seam.
Then we weld the bushings with pieces of a steel square - in the end you should get rotary "shoulders" for the machine, which are then joined together.
