In this review, the author shows the process of making an unusual metal door. Of the basic materials for this project, profile pipes and sheet metal will be required.
First of all, it will be necessary to cut the workpiece of the desired length from the profile pipe. The edges will need to be cut at an angle of 45 degrees.
From the sections of the profile pipe, the author welds 3 parts: two - of a triangular shape, one - in the form of a trapezoid.
Then it will be necessary to make the same three parts. Of these, the door frame will be welded.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, it will be necessary to select the bushings of the desired diameter and weld them to the frame elements, having previously made a selection using a metal crown.
After all the bushings are welded, the author welds the hinges. Thus, all the individual elements of the frame when opening and closing the door will be folded.
Then it remains only to cut out pieces of sheet metal of the desired shape and weld (or screw on the screws) them to the door frame.
The author makes canopies for installing such a door from a corner and a bolt. Conventional awnings for standard doors in this case will not work.
