In this review, the author shares his own experience on how to pour concrete pillars for the fence with your own hands. We will not describe the entire process of erecting pillars - we will only talk about the main points.
The first step is to prepare a support base. In this case, it is a strip foundation.
After that, you will need to make a frame of reinforcement: vertical rods with a diameter of 10 mm, horizontal - 6 mm.
The main stages of work
After the frames of the reinforcement are installed, the author proceeds with the installation of the formwork. Assembled from an unedged inch board.
Ideally, the sides of the formwork should be pulled together with studs so that they do not burst when pouring concrete.
But in this case, the author did away with the usual supports: four supports were installed at the bottom of the formwork and two at the top of it.
At the next stage, it will be necessary to prepare concrete and you can begin to fill the pillars. For the preparation of concrete, a concrete mixer is used. The ratio of cement and sand is 1: 3.
In addition, the author added fiber-reinforced concrete to the concrete - for greater strength. The solution was specially made thick so that it did not flow out through the cracks in the formwork.
After pouring the column, you need to let it stand for 2-3 days, and only then you can disassemble the formwork.
