Soft keychains in the shape of a cat and a whale can easily become an original addition to keys, a pencil case or a bag, despite the fact that making them is quite simple.
Here is a list of the required materials:
- The fabric of two colors you liked;
- Lace (about 40 centimeters);
- Elastic band (for eyelets, for which the keychain will be attached);
- Threads for sewing;
- Needle and pins;
- carbine;
- White and beige thread floss (or any other of the same thickness);
- black beads;
- scissors;
- Matches or lighter;
- Filler (unnecessary fabric cut into small pieces, synthetic winterizer or cotton wool).

Let's get started.
First of all, paper cut out patterns for the pattern of future trinkets.

From the selected fabric, we cut out the parts according to the blanks.

Now set aside the whale pattern and take care of the cat. We divide the lace into several segments: one 4 cm long, four segments 5 cm long and one 9 cm long. See photo.

Each segment must be folded in half and using a lighter or matches to singe the ends so that they stick to each other. The largest part is the tail, the four smaller ones are the paws, and the rest is the eyelet for attaching.

Next, we move on to stitching all the parts. Lay the tail and eyelet between the parts of the pattern folded with the front side inwards. The dotted lines in the photo show their location.

Sew the upper part, then position the feet in the same way and sew the rest.

Do not forget to leave a small hole through which you will turn the product face out.

Fill the toy with a padding polyester or any other material and carefully sew the hole.

Now the most interesting part is embroidering the cat's face. White threads need to embroider eyes and eyebrows.

Then sew a couple of beads.

We embroider the muzzle, nose and mustache with beige threads.

Hook the carabiner and you're done!

There is a whale, it will be a little easier with it.

We fold the parts of the pattern and the elastic band for fastening, then flash it, leaving 3-4 cm along the edge intact.

We twist the product, fill it, embroider the eyes, smile and fin, sew the bead, in addition, you can walk with a decorative seam along the edge of the toy with threads of the same color as the elastic. That's all!
