Today we’ll try to make such a fashionable jewelry with our own hands. We will sculpt a pansy flower, followed by a connection to the base ring.
For the hand-made production of such a remarkable decoration, we need the following materials and tools:
- four small blocks of polymer clay - white, black, yellow and purple;
- stationery knife;
- thermal gun tucked with glue stick;
- base for silver ring.
Separate from the purple whetstone about two-thirds of the material, knead and roll out a sausage with a diameter of 5 mm from it. The purple clay used in this case contains interspersed with purple spangles, which in the future will give the decoration an additional charm.
From a small piece of black clay we fashion a strip of length equal to the length of the finished sausage. We apply the resulting element on top of the purple blank.
We squeeze the workpiece as much as possible and cut it into elements 4 mm wide.
We compress the received elements together.
We cut the resulting workpiece across and mirror the resulting parts.
We roll out the white and purple sausages so that the white workpiece is about one and a half times longer than the purple one.
We cut sausages into identical segments - 4 violet, 6 white. From the obtained pieces, we will perform a smooth color transition, so for convenience we lay them out on working heaps, as shown in the figure.
We mix the colors - leave one purple segment intact, mix the second and knead well with one white piece, the third with two white pieces, etc.
The resulting colored elements are stretched and superimposed on top of the previously made striped workpiece, giving that petal shape.
We crush and stretch the workpiece, making it more like a flower petal.
Cut off excess material from the sides. In the future, it will still be useful to us.
Our billet has a very large thickness, we will take advantage of this and cut it across.
We continue to form the shape of the petal, crushing and stretching one of the obtained elements until we get a beautiful petal with a gradient.
We make the second petal as similar as possible to the first, after which we proceed to manufacture the double lower petal according to the principle similar to the manufacture of the previous floral elements. We make a blank of yellow sausage and two clay stripes - black and white.
We press the workpiece and cut into segments.
We carry out the pressing.
Cut across and mirror-connect.
We give the workpiece a heart shape and fill the void between the sides with white clay.
Knead the clay that was cut before until we get a plain material. At the same time, we knead and spread a strip of white material on the working petal. Place a light purple strip of clay on top.
Crumple the workpiece with your fingers, forming a petal.
Sculpt two simple light purple petals from the remaining material.
We connect the obtained elements and additionally fasten them in the middle with a ball of yellow clay.
We bake the product according to the instructions attached to the polymer clay. Let the flower cool and glue it to the base ring with a hot glue gun. The unique Pansy ring is done!
