A used spark plug can become a donor to the insulator for various ideas and crafts. But how to remove the insulator without damaging its fragile material?

The first step is to heat the gas burner of the candle literally until red. As a result of exposure to high temperature, the contact rod begins to fall out of the central hole, you need to help this process with pliers.

The second step is rolling off the emery and gently knocking the insulator out of the case. Next, the nut is cut off, only the ceramic insulator remains with the remainder of the electrode, which can be removed with a diamond wheel.
