To make a mini sandblast, you will need a regular gun with a flexible hose, which is used to inflate car tires, as well as other accessories and parts: a brass tube from the purge gun, an empty plastic bottle with a cap and a compressor.

We screw the brass wheelhouse into the gun instead of the hose, and we fasten the hose to the place of the manometer, which can be removed to the side (a measuring device is not needed for this homemade work). Next, we take a plastic bottle with a wide neck and drill holes in it: one in the bottom, the other in the neck.

Work sequence

At the bottom of the bottle you need to "put" on the hot-melt adhesive air valve and additionally fix it with a nut. Using a round file, make a small hole in the brass tube through which sand will be fed. Then we put a bottle on the tube, and connect the air supply hose to the air valve.

When the mini sandblast is fully assembled, you can try it out at work. Pour the sifted sand into the bottle, connect the gun to the compressor hose and you can clean various metal surfaces from rust and dirt. Such a mini sandblast is ideal for home use, as it is compact in size and light in weight.
