Such a simple mini-stove is useful both in the country and during a vacation in the country. It is quite compact in size, and then does not take up much space in the trunk of a car. In a portable oven, you can cook scrambled eggs, sausages or semi-finished meat in a frying pan, boil water.

The main stages of work

We clean the outer surface of the iron with a grinder (if necessary), after which we drill a through hole in the center of the base. In this case, the old cast iron will be used as a decorative stand for a portable home-made furnace.

Then, using a bolt with a nut, we connect the cast iron to the aluminum centrifuge tank, which is designed for vertical loading (can be removed from the old washing machine). The next step is to make a handle for carrying the oven.

To do this, using bolts and nuts, we connect together a piece of tube and aluminum plates. Fasten the handle to the top of the centrifuge tank. Inside the base of the “bowl”, even at the stages of assembling the iron and the tank, it is necessary to provide a stand for a metal can in which the fire will be built.

How the mini oven works

When the whole structure is assembled, you can begin to test. Install the mini-oven on a flat area. We twist into a roll strips of thick cardboard (can be cut from boxes) and insert it inside the can.

Pour a little vegetable oil and insert a "wick" twisted from a regular newspaper. We set fire to the wick and set the pan or pan on top. The detailed manufacturing process of a home-made portable mini-oven can be seen in the video on the website.
