Using simple home-made devices, it is possible to more accurately weld various metal parts (for example, angles, pipes, plates, profiles, etc.). This homemade product works by analogy with a magnetic corner, however, unlike it, it is more universal in use.
For example, using this device, you can easily dock a steel plate along a pipe or other round metal billet. At the same time, it is possible to make a design from ordinary metal scraps, which can be found in any garage or workshop.
To assemble a home-made tool for welding various parts, you will need: a section of a profile pipe 30 * 20 mm, a piece of profile 40 * 25 mm, as well as round neodymium magnets with a central hole with a diameter of 4 mm and fasteners.
The main stages of work
From a rectangular profile of 30 * 20 mm, the master cuts off a workpiece with a length of 80 mm. And for this he uses a band saw, but this work can be done with an ordinary grinder (and even a hand hacksaw). It will also be necessary to cut off two more pieces of the profile 40 * 25 mm 2 cm long.
At the next stage, the author makes a marking and drills holes in all three workpieces, and then cuts off one of the walls in "shorties". An M4 thread is cut in the center of the short segments to fit small neodymium magnets. Also, this will require bolts with nuts.
