However, in this case, you can go the other way. The author offers the idea of how to make a do-it-yourself mini-jigsaw machine with a screwdriver drive. It does not take up much space, while the manufacturing costs are minimal.
The first step is to cut off two pieces of a steel plate and two strips of metal. From the plates with the help of a grinder, it is necessary to cut blanks of a suitable shape. Then the author drills holes in plates and strips, and fastens the parts with bolts.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, the master cuts off two more stripes. You will also need to cut two parts from the corner. Then you need to drill holes, and connect all the workpieces with bolts.
Next, three more details need to be cut out of metal, after which you can proceed with the assembly of the structure. The base is a piece of plywood 20 mm thick.
Then it remains only to make a reciprocating mechanism, and cut a work table from a piece of plywood and install a saw blade.
