With the help of home-made clamps, you can fix wooden blanks of various sizes on a carpentry bench.

Moreover, the clamps can work both in pairs (for example, when you need to fix long workpieces), and separately.

To make home-made clamps, you will need plywood and paper templates that can be printed on a printer.

We cut out the template, glue it to the blanks from plywood, and then we cut out the necessary details on the band saw.

The main stages of work

After we cut out all the blanks, we make grooves in two of them, and semicircular recesses in the other two. Then the details need to be sanded.

At the next stage of the work, the author glues two pieces together to get two identical parts. Next, you will need to install the lever.

In order for home-made clamps to work, it is necessary to drill holes for additional stops on a carpentry workbench.

As you can see, the design is quite simple, and everyone can make such clamps. It is very convenient to use them in a home workshop and garage during in-line work, when it is necessary to perform all operations quickly.
