In this review, the author shows a detailed manufacturing process for a simple homemade conductor. with its help it will be possible to make metal chains, or rather links for it.
Of the basic materials for this homemade product, only thick pieces of metal and steel round bars will be required.
The device itself is fixed in a bench vise, but you can come up with a desktop version with a bolted mount.
First of all, cut off a piece of thick metal of a rectangular shape - this will be the base of the conductor.
Homemade manufacturing process
From a piece of metal of the same thickness, the author cuts out two bars, one edge of which will need to be rounded.
The next step is to drill two holes in each workpiece.
After that, we drill three through holes in the base: first with a drill of a smaller diameter, then with a larger one.
Next, you will need to cut 5 pieces from a steel bar: two are shorter, three are more authentic.
Insert one short piece into the holes in the rectangular blanks with rounded edges, and the three remaining pieces - hammer them into the holes in the base.
Then it remains only to weld the handles. Their master made of a square bar. After that, we proceed to the assembly.
