Stylish strict geometry in a modern design can transform any room, and make it exclusive.

In this review, the author tells how to create a table with unusual catchy lines of the foundation with your own hands.

To realize this idea, you will need eight long rectangular bars. You can pre-purchase them or chop them yourself.

Decide on the size of the table. Now tighten the four bars with a clamp and on both sides select the groove corresponding to the thickness of the bar. The size of the figure that we get during assembly will depend on the distance between the grooves.

The main stages of work

Next, cut half the thickness from one edge of the bars so that they can be combined with each other.

The design will look better if you do not begin to use self-tapping screws, but for this you need to choose high-quality glue.

Align and pair the edges of the bars with each other at right angles. On the one hand it should be smooth, and on the other, with grooves cut out.

Be sure to check that the angle is ninety degrees. Now tighten the bars with clamps at the junction and remove any excess glue.

After the joints have dried, you can proceed to the assembly. Also use glue and align the grooves of the bars to form a square.

For convenience, it is better to use a mallet. Now pull off all attachment points and let them dry.

Turn the base of the table over and sand the joints. After that, remove all wood dust and you can proceed to painting.

You can use stain, varnish, glossy or matte paint. In this style, laconic black looks great.

Let the paint dry and lay the glass top on top. Here is the table and ready!

With this idea, you can create a large dining table for the whole family, as well as a low coffee table or even a flower stand.
