The simplest sandblasting can be done in garage conditions in literally 20 minutes on virtually the knee. And he will work from the exhaust pipe of the car.

Of course, this design will not pull large volumes, but it was not created for this.

To clean something on small things or on the same car (to remove rust on the bottom and sills) - this task will be done by sandblasting.

In no case should you work with such sandblasting indoors - in a garage or box, so as not to poison yourself with carbon monoxide.

You can clean metal only on the street. In this case, you must use a respirator, glasses and gloves.

Design features sandblasting

In terms of design, sandblasting is quite simple. The exhaust pipe is welded to the exhaust pipe. To prevent the thread from rusting, a sleeve is screwed onto the flange.

When you need to clean something, the coupling is unscrewed, and a sandblast is installed instead.

The homemade product is a coupling to which a plug is welded. A hole was drilled in the plug itself and a tube was welded on which a pressure gauge is installed to measure pressure.

We put a hose on the tube, and connect it to the sand bottle. A second hose is already moving away from her. As a nozzle, a piece of a metal tube is used.
