Water at the cottage is always needed, regardless of the size of the house and the time of living in it. Digging traditional wells is long and expensive; site owners often make wells. But there is one problem - specialized companies evaluate their services not cheaply. There is a budget option to make a well yourself without a rig.

What you need to have

A thick-walled pipe with a diameter of 50 mm and a length of about 7-6 m is required. The punching technology involves welding and drilling - prepare the machine, drill machine or drill. It is necessary to hammer in a heavy load, in our case a flywheel from the SMD-14 diesel engine is used. A movable strong metal holder is screwed to the pipe.

DIY well drilling technology

First you need to prepare a metal pipe. The butt should be drowned out with a sharp tip, it can be made of sheet iron or a pipe. To do this, four equilateral triangles are cut out in it, the remaining petals are bent and welded.
To pass water at the end of the pipe, holes with a diameter of 3-5 mm should be staggered.

We tighten the clamping mechanism to the pipe so that there is something to hit.

To facilitate operation, handles must be welded on both sides of the flywheel.

Install the pipe in a prepared place strictly vertically and with the flywheel start driving it into the ground, you need to work together. Make sure that it is always upright.

As you go deeper, turn the pipe a little, this will facilitate the clogging process. To control the depth, apply marks on the pipe one meter apart. As you dive, rearrange the holder above and weld a piece of pipe. If there is a desire to hammer a pipe with a length of 6-8 m whole - try it.

Upon reaching the required depth, check the presence of water: lower the nut into the thread on it. If there is water - fine, insert a plastic hose into the pipe and connect it to the water column with a hand pump.

Pour water into the column to remove air, start pumping the well. At first, the water will be mixed with sand and clay, and then it will go on reading.

Over time, the column is installed directly in the room, on the street - a temporary option. Instead of a column, you can connect an electric pump.

If the inflow of water is very small, then you can clog the pipe a little more, and then raise it a little.

Conclusion

Before starting work, you need to find out the location of the aquifer. Ask the neighbors, measure the depth of the dug wells, if any are nearby. And one more warning - using this method you can make a well only on soft, preferably sandy, soils.
It is recommended that the length of one pipe is not more than two meters, then new pieces are welded as they are driven in. It is necessary to work very carefully, the axes of the welded pipes should be on the same line, and the weld should be strong, without gaps and burnout of the metal.
