Furniture design is increasingly pleased with unusual innovations, expanding the traditional perception of things. So today we bring to your attention a homemade stool made of PVC pipes, which any master can do. Go!

Materials:

PVC pipe, diameter 25-32 mm;
Fittings: cross piece - 2 pcs, straight connecting tee - 8 pcs, plug without thread - 8 pcs;
Plywood, thickness 10-16 mm;
Self-tapping screws for a coupler bench;
Varnish or paint on wood.

Instruments:

Soldering iron for PVC pipes;
Jigsaw;
Screwdriver or Phillips screwdriver;
Sandpaper or grinding machine;
Plumbing scissors or a hacksaw for metal;
Paint knife;
Tape measure, pencil or marker.

The procedure for assembling stools from plastic pipes

We solder crosses

The basis of our stool will be two identical in size crosses, performing the role of upper and lower tsars. For one crosspiece, the following fittings will be needed: crosspiece - 1 pc., Connecting tee - 4 pcs., Pipe length under the drawer bar - 4 pcs. The length of the pipe is measured empirically, taking into account the distance for soldering.
The finished cross must turn out square, and its size is less than the size of the banquet by a few centimeters on each side. Soldering is carried out with a plumbing soldering iron, with an optimum time delay for the selected pipe diameter.
The most even cut of PVC pipes is obtained by specialized scissors. However, this tool may not be available to everyone. You can replace it with a hacksaw for metal, trimming the curvature of the cut with a paint knife. They also remove burrs for better soldering.
Advice!
The cost of PVC pipes differs depending on the quality of the manufacturer and destination. So, for example, pipes for hot water supply are an order of magnitude more expensive than for cold. For similar products, it is not the type of pipe that matters, but the high-quality and reliable soldering.

Making a stool frame

With pieces of PVC pipes of the same diameter, we assemble both crosses together, making a stool frame. You can accept the general dimensions that the author of the video sets in his product.
The advantage of PVC pipes as a material is that with inaccurate selection of sizes, you can always solder or, on the contrary, cut the pipe in length. In our case, it is worth considering the presence of plugs on both sides of the frame. They can be soldered through small pipe sections, thereby adjusting the height of our stool.

We make a banquette

Seat stool is called a bench. We make it from a square piece of plywood. The usual size of a stool bench is 30-35cm. Saw it with a jigsaw or hacksaw, flipping edges along the correct radius. Sandpaper or a grinder we process ribs and sawn edges around the perimeter.
We mark four holes for self-tapping screws for attaching the bench to the frame. Slightly countersink the holes on the front so that the screws do not stick out from the outside. Drill holes with a screwdriver or drill. The bench is almost ready. For longer term use, it can be painted or varnished.

Collect stool

We expose the stool frame exactly in the center of the holes. We bait the screws by hand, and twist them with a screwdriver or a screwdriver. We check the stability of the stool so that all legs are uniform.

The cost of components is very low, and for many masters they generally settle as backups in a deep reserve.
