Materials:
- - Photo frame;
- - felt (white, pink, gray, yellow, purple);
- - white cardboard;
- - glue moment;
- - glue gun;
- - scissors;
- - marker and pen;
- - sponge;
- - brush;
- - acrylic paints.
Step 1. We take a frame for a photo. It can be of any size, in this case the size of the frame is 10x15 cm. We apply a small amount of acrylic paint to the sponge and with patting movements we paint the entire frame (hard-to-reach spots can be painted with a brush). I used blue because I have a cat, and if you have a cat, then you can use pink.
Step 2. Note all sizes will correspond to the frame for the photo 10x15 cm. On the gray felt we draw the half of the cat's muzzle you should feel as if it peeps out 11 cm long and 2.5 cm wide. Then on the white felt we draw two cat's legs, 4 cm high and 2.5 cm wide. Next, on a yellow felt, draw a curved tail 10 cm high and 1.5 cm wide.
Step 3. Now add small details: on pink felt we draw two triangles (ears), and eight small circles (paw pads) and two small ovals (cat’s palm). Next, on a yellow felt we draw a small circle with a diameter of 1.5 cm and on a gray felt we draw several also small triangles (stripes on the tail).
Step 4. We cut everything out.
Step 5. From felt, I decided to make my cat’s favorite treat — a fish (4.5 cm long, 2 cm wide), but you can replace it with any other treat or your favorite pet’s toy (for example, a mouse or a ball).
Step 6. On each white foot, glue 4 pink circles and 1 oval in the middle, glue gray triangles on the tail, as shown in the photo. Glue 2 pink triangles on the ears of the gray cat and cut the yellow circle in half and glue it as eyes. Glue the eye cut from felt onto the fish. Then we carefully coat each blank with glue Moment and glue it on a white cardboard, press it well so that everything sticks together and leave for a while.
Step 7. Cut, while leaving about 0.5 cm at the edges of the cardboard.
Step 8. Make the cat more detailed. To do this, draw pupils with a black marker (can be made of felt), then make glare - cut out very small circles from white felt and glue to the left of the pupil. I also decided to add white stripes to the seal’s head.
Step 9. The workpiece is ready!
Step 10. Using a glue gun, glue everything to the frame. First, glue the tail, then the gray cat, fish and paws.
It remains to insert a photo of a furry pet in a new frame and you're done! Thanks to felt, the frame looks spectacular and creates the feeling of fur of a cat. My cat Lyova will be pleased!
