The article presents a diagram and description of crocheting sweaters for a dog. Size S, i.e. animal back length 25 cm.
Product Dimensions:
back length - 23 cm;
belly length - 15 cm (for boys), -18 cm (for girls);
neck width -11 cm;
chest width - 16.5 cm.
Knitting density 1 cm2 = 3 double crochet stitches. Accordingly, you can choose the size of the sweater by changing the number of columns.
You will need:
Yarn 100% wool 100g, hook number 2.5, a needle with a big eye.
The basic pattern is a simple double crochet.
Description of the braid (picture on the back):
Width is 9 columns.
1st row: 3 front embossed double crochet, 3 simple double crochet, 3 front embossed double crochet;
2nd row: 3 wrong embossed double crochet, 3 simple double crochet, 3 wrong embossed double crochet;
3rd row: 3 front embossed double crochet, 3 simple double crochet, 3 front embossed double crochet;
4th row: we skip 6 loops and knit the 7th, 8th and 9th loop with the wrong embossed crochet column, then go back and knit the 4th, 5th and 6th loop with a simple crochet at work and end the row by knitting the 1st, 2nd and 3rd stitches with a purl embossed double crochet.
Then repeat from 1st to 4th row.
Work description:
1. Redraw the part patterns on paper.
So it will be more convenient when knitting to check the shape of the part and adjust the number of columns in a row.
2. Based on the density of the knit, knit on the shape of the pattern with the main pattern of the abdomen and sleeves. You need to shape the part by adding and decreasing the columns in the first and last loops of the rows. Moreover, in the back these changes will be symmetrical (the last loop relative to the first), but not in the sleeves.
3. The shape of the backrest should also be given by changing the number of columns in the first and last loops (symmetrically).
Let us dwell in more detail on the figure. The middle of the three braids must begin with the first row. It takes 9 middle loops. And the first facial relief columns of the side braids should be started to knit from the 9th row. So that on the 12th row in all three braids there would be overlap symmetrically. The distance between the braids 2 double crochet.
The rest of the back space is knitted with the main pattern.
4. When all the parts are ready, they should be stitched.
5. The connected parts must be tied.
The neckline is a simple double crochet in each loop.
Lower abdomen - a simple double crochet, evenly skipping 3 loops.
The lower edge of the back is one column in each row on the sides of the product and through the loop in the area with braids.
Thus, the edge of the sweater is pulled a little, and it will fit more tightly to the body of the animal
6. It remains only to cut and hide the threads and rather try on.
Try, show imagination, and most importantly - enjoy communicating with loved ones.
